How We Process Kratom: From Leaf to Export

Most kratom consumers never see what happens between harvest and shipment. Here is a look inside our processing line in Pontianak.
Harvesting happens by hand. Only mature leaves are picked, and they are collected at dawn when alkaloid content is at its peak. Machines never touch the leaf.
Drying is the step that most affects quality. We dry indoors under shade in ventilated rooms, which preserves color, aroma, and the balance of alkaloids. Poorly dried leaf grows mold and degrades quickly in transit.
Once dry, the leaf is milled into an ultra-fine powder on dedicated equipment. The grind consistency stays within a tight micron range so dosing remains predictable.
After grinding, every batch is vacuum sealed and lab tested. We track every batch with a unique number so we can trace it from the tree all the way to the COA that ships with it.
Packaging is where a lot of overseas buyers notice the difference between a careful exporter and a careless one. Each bag is vacuum sealed to remove air, which keeps moisture out and protects the alkaloid profile during the weeks your shipment spends in transit. Boxes are double-walled and strapped, and the contents arrive labeled so customs officers see exactly what is inside without opening every package.
Documentation travels with every order. Alongside the invoice and packing list, we prepare the export documents required for leaving Indonesia, including phytosanitary and customs paperwork. Getting these right ahead of time is what keeps shipments moving, because a single missing signature can hold a container at the port for days.
Once the powder lands with the buyer, storage still matters. Sealed bags keep full potency for a long time when kept cool, dry and out of direct sunlight, and most of our customers report no measurable loss in quality over a year or more after arrival. Following the same simple rules — reseal after opening, keep it away from heat, and avoid humidity — preserves the product until the last gram is used.
